Here’s why Kylie Jenner wears black when supporting Timothée Chalamet

Kylie Jenner recently revealed the real reason she opts for wearing all black every time she accompanies her beau, Timothee Chalamet.

The 27-year-old Kardashians star opened up about the thought process that goes behind attending awards shows with the Dune actor to support him.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar published on Wednesday, May 28, Jenner disclosed, "I think it just like happened that way."

Talking about her black body-hugging Schiaparelli gown she wore at their red-carpet debut as a couple in Rome at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards, she said, "Even recently I was like, I can’t wear another black dress. And then, of course, the most perfect, gorgeous Schiaparelli black dress shows up."

"Although these are the most beautiful, iconic gowns I've been wearing, I think a black dress is also kind of like, not too attention-grabbing in the best way. You can never go wrong with a black dress," Jenner observed.

It is worth mentioning that the Kylie Cosmetics founder has made a couple of appearances with Chalamet, donning black outfits, including the 2024 Golden Globes, 2025 BAFTAs, 2025 Academy Awards, and 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

For those unversed, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet began dating in April 2023. They have been deliberately trying to keep their relationship as private as possible.
