Lady Gaga bags role in Wednesday Season 2?

Lady Gaga is all set to take her acting career to the next level as Netflix has confirmed the 39-year-old singer’s cameo appearance in Wednesday’s Season 2.

The news was confirmed at the streamer’s annual Tudum event held on Saturday, May 31, where the first six minutes of the premiere episode also dropped.

It is pertinent to mention that Gaga’s participation in the series was first leaked in November 2024, after earlier speculations.

At the celebration, the Born This Way singer performed an original song that will be featured on the upcoming season’s soundtrack.

Apart from that, Gaga closed out the show with the performance of her hit song, Bloody Mary, which was featured in Wednesday Season 1, as well as her other song Abracadabra.

The first season, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, was released in November 2022, introducing the world to Tim Burton's take on the beloved Addams Family character.

The series and the cast got widespread recognition, including nominations for Emmys and Golden Globes.

It is worth noting that Lady Gaga has appeared in several films, including A Star is Born, House of Gucci, and Joker: Folie à Deux, and will now join Wednesday Season 2, which will return with Part 1 on August 6 and Part 2 on September 3 on Netflix.
