Devastating news unfolds for Rihanna as she just bid a final farewell to her beloved father, Ronald Fenty.
According to the Starcom Network News, a radio station from the 37-year-old singer’s motherland, Barbados, her father passed away at the age of 70 early in the morning on Saturday, May 31.
However, an official cause of death has not yet been revealed, but it is being speculated that he suffered from a "brief illness" in his last days.
The publication further reported that Rihanna’s family members are all gathering in California to perform the final rituals.
The Work singer or her representatives have not yet addressed the unfortunate news.
To note, Rihanna shared a strained relationship with her late father, especially during the time her former boyfriend, Chris Brown, harassed her, and Fenty spoke to the press on the matter without the singer’s consent. But shortly after, the two rekindled their bond.
It is worth noting that Rihanna is currently pregnant with her third child with A$AP Rocky, with the announcement made during the 2025 Met Gala.
