Michael Cera doesn’t feel 'super bad' about his first ever interaction with Jackie Chan.

Known for his iconic roles in fan-favourite movies and shows like Arrested development, Superbad, Juno, and Barbie, the 36-year-old Canadian actor opened up about his awkward encounter with the 71-year-old Honk Kong star.

After his introduction to the Karate Kid actor, it is safe to say that Chan had not seen any of Cera’s work.

Talking to NME, the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World actor revealed that when he was introduced to the actor known for slapstick and his comic timing, had no clue who he was.

"When I met him, he was like 'who is this person, what's going on?'" Cera recalled.

"We took a picture but I think he thought I was a competition winner," he playfully said, adding, "He was like, ‘OK let’s do a picture real quick. Come on.’ Not rudely. But I felt like I was invading his little personal time with his team before he goes on the radio."

Despite not being fazed by it, the Barbie actor admitted he was feeling a little unsure of himself at the moment, he recalled thinking, "I was like, 'What am I doing here?' But everyone was very sweet and I got to meet Jackie."
