Sabrina Carpenter receives support from influencer Alex Warren amid backlash

Sabrina Carpenter was involuntarily roped into a bit of work drama with influencer and YouTuber Alex Warren when fans of the two singers waged a battle against each artist due to the clash between their new releases.

When Carpenter released a new chartbuster titled Manchild last week, Warren’s earlier release Ordinary was still going strong at the top of the music chart.

Recently, the influencer who became famous through The Hype House, a reality series based on the lives of various TikTok artists, posted a Spotify link to Carpenter’s track even though she is currently his main competition.

As the battle between their respective fandoms waged, Warren took to his social media account on X (formerly known as Twitter), and categorically squashed any potential beef between himself and Carpenter.

“Wait why is everyone so mean on here… music is music,” he wrote.

While the former TikTok star also went on to share that he feels “so blessed” for his song which was released back in February still soaring high on top of music rankings, he was still full of praise for Manchild, as he added, “And I’m so honored to be mentioned in the same sentence as Sabrina.”

Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter’s Manchild was released last week on Thursday, June 5, and is challenging Alex Warren’s hit Ordinary, which is the current number one.
