Sabrina Carpenter finally opens up about messy split with Barry Keoghan

Sabrina Carpenter finally breaks silence on her messy breakup with former boyfriend, Barry Keoghan.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone published on June 12, the 26-year-old pop icon opened up her current relationship dynamics, months after reports of split with the Saltburn actor.

"Am I doing the single thing right now?" she wittingly said, adding, "I’m doing the 25-year-old thing right now, whatever that means."

Though she didn’t mention anyone by name, the Espresso singer revealed how her relationships have affected her career and how hard it is to constantly deal with public opinion.

"People underestimate how tricky it is to navigate being a young woman, having relationships, and then having a bunch of strangers have opinions on them," Carpenter noted.

The Feather songstress also shared that she’s extremely proud of herself for handling the online criticism well.

"Surely, all of these people that are commenting, if they had the same microscope on their personal lives, I don’t think they’d be as eloquently spoken as me," Carpenter said.

“I know it’s a tale as old as time. It’s just unfortunate that it’s still a tale," she added.

It is worth noting that Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan began dating in December 2023 and parted ways in December 2024.
