King Charles and Queen Camilla took center stage as they led the historic Order of the Garter procession at Windsor Castle on June 16, 2025.

The monarchs made a striking appearance in rich velvet robes and plumed hats that symbolise Britain’s highest Order of Chivalry.

Charles seemed to be in high spirits while overseeing the lavish display, under the bright sunshine.

Donning full regalia of the Order, the 77-year-old Queen walked gracefully at the King’s side as the procession moved from the castle's quadrangle to St George's Chapel.

Kate Middleton and Duchess Sophie were also in attendance at the ceremony.

Attending her first Order of the Garter ceremony in two years, the Princess of Wales rejoined the tradition following her absence last year while undergoing cancer treatment.

The future Queen stunned in an elegant crisp white dress from the brand Self Portrait, which she completed with a Sean Barrett hat, accessorising her look by adding a touch of vintage charm, wearing a faux pearl necklace designed by Susan Caplan.

At the Galilee Porch entrance of the Chapel, the Princess of Wales and Duchess of Edinburgh stood together exchanging smiles and sharing a laugh together during the service.

The Order of the Garter stands as Britain’s oldest and most prestigious Order of Chivalry, established nearly 700 years ago by King Edward III.
