Kate Middleton’s touching bond with Duchess Sophie put to test by lip reader

Kate Middleton and Duchess Sophie were just some of the senior royal family members to make an appearance at the Order of the Garter parade on Monday, June 16.

However, the royal pair who have shared a close bond for a while now were apparently captured exchanging a few touching words with each other.

Professional lip reader Nicola Hickling revealed that at one point the Princess of Wales told one of the guests who was conversing alongside her and the Duchess, “Oh, you look good, don’t worry.”

Upon which, Prince Edward’s wife also proceeded to ask with a laugh, “What do I look like?”

The two women who share the common link of marrying into the royal family had their exchange on the porch of St George’s Chapel.

During the occasion, both Princess Kate and the Duchess stepped out in lavish looks of their own.

While the future queen looked radiant in her all-white outfit, Sophie chose to show up in a soft pink ensemble.

Kate Middleton and Duchess Sophie joined their husbands Prince William and Prince Edward respectively as King Charles and Queen Camilla led the festivities for the Garter Day 2025.
