Sabrina Carpenter has finally clapped back at the ongoing claims surrounding her 2024 photoshoot with W Magazine.

For those unware, the netizens have accused the 26-year-old pop sensation of taking inspiration from the controversial film, Lolita for the shoot.

It is pertinent to mention that the film has faced long backlash for portraying a grown up adult man obsession with a young girl.

Carpenter’s response came via TikTok after a social media user presented side-by-side picture comparisons from her shoot, as well as a still from the movie.

"What the...I'm sorry for my language, but what the F is this?" the user raised a question in the video.

Shortly after, the Feather singer was quick to defend herself as she commented underneath the clip, writing, "I've never seen this movie. It's never been on my mood board and never would be."

This confession comes after Carpenter responded to a X user who reposted her album’s cover, commenting, "Does she have personality outside of sex?"

The Espresso hitmaker re-shared the post and quip, "girl yes and it is goooooood."

It is worth noting that Sabrina Carpenter’s forthcoming album Man’s Best Friend is slated for release on August 29, 2025.
