Descendants’ director Kenny Ortega has given a heartfelt tribute to the late actor Cameron Boyce, while reminiscing about directing the Disney Channel Original Movie trilogy, ahead of its 10th anniversary.
Taking to Instagram on June 18, the 75-year-old director shared a sweet video of the young actor’s energetic dance rehearsal with his co-stars Sofia Carson and Dove Cameron, for the film’s iconic song Rotten to the Core.
"Coming up. . . Disney’s Descendants 10th Anniversary!" Kenny wrote in the caption.
"After all of these years it’s still setting it off," he added, before continuing, "All my love and a heap of thanks to our Cast, Crew, creative Team, Disney Channel, and to our devoted Fans around the world."
He ended the caption with a sweet message to the Jessie actor, which read, "LOVE YOU CAM!"
Friends and fans of the actor rushed to the comment section expressing their love.
"10 years , my brain cannot comprehend," Dove penned.
"I will never tire of watching Cameron shine," Keegan Connor said.
"Cam is so missed," one fan expressed.
Another said, "Descendants it’s in my heart forever."
