Miley Cyrus celebrates major career milestone: 'Feels like a dream'

Miley Cyrus has plenty to celebrate as she marks a major career milestone.

On Wednesday, July 2, it was announced during a press conference that the 32-year-old pop sensation will be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026.

To celebrate the big news, the Party in the U.S.A. hitmaker took to her Instagram handle to express her gratitude.

In the celebratory post, Miley reminisced about the good old times when she walked down the boulevard with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, as a child, featuring a video of her new single, Walk of Fame.

She captioned the post with a heartfelt message that read, "Honored to be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame."

"When I first came to LA from Nashville as a little girl, my family would stay at a hotel on Hollywood Blvd, and I would go on late night walks with my dad when no one would recognize him," the Flowers singer added.

The Hannah Montana alum went on to say, "We’d have the gift shops to ourselves & buy knock off Oscars and Marilyn Monroe merchandise. To now be cemented on this legendary boulevard, surrounded by the icons who inspired me, feels like a dream."

"This moment will live forever, thank you to everyone in my life who made it possible. I am grateful to share this star with you," Miley Cyrus concluded.
