Miley Cyrus shares what really helps her manage anxiety

Miley Cyrus recently spilled the secret to curbing her anxiety.
While opening up about her anxiety struggles, the 32-year-old revealed that she quietly battled stage fright while performing for some of the world’s biggest audiences.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, the Flowers hitmaker shared that a therapy called EMDR was instrumental in curbing her anxiety, adding, “Love it. Saved my life.”
The Disney child star also admitted that she has never had stage fright again.
In another recent interview with Vogue, the ex-wife of Liam Hemsworth said that EMDR felt like watching a movie in her mind — vivid and emotional, but grounding.
EMDR is an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. which is an alternative therapy designed to help people process unresolved trauma and emotional pain.
Miley Cyrus isn’t the only public face to try EMDR as it has been reportedly Prince Harry has shared in interviews that he uses the therapy to process painful memories connected to his mother’s death.
According to EMDR professionals, this therapy uses bilateral stimulation, often through eye movements, tapping or sound, to help the brain reprocess those upsetting memories.
