Oprah conducted the headline-making interview with Harry and Meghan in 2021
Oprah Winfrey is having a little fun with her famous neighbors.
During a recent episode of Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, the media icon shared a lighthearted moment involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
When Ripa asked Oprah if she'd enjoy receiving baby chicks as a gift.
Oprah quickly replied, “No,” before adding with a laugh, “I’d run them straight over to the Sussexes”, purposely dragging out the ending for comedic effect: “the Sussexessssses.”
Despite the playful jab, Oprah remains close with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. She famously attended their royal wedding in 2018 and developed a strong friendship with the couple after they moved to Montecito, California.
To note, Oprah also conducted the headline-making 2021 interview with Harry and Meghan, which continues to resurface amid the ongoing tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family.
