The tech billionaire Elon Musk has jumped into the online frenzy surrounding the viral “kiss cam” incident involving Astronomer’s CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Musk posted a meme that parodies the viral moment, replacing Byron and Cabot with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and former Apple designer Jony Ive.

The meme was captioned “Viva la Vida,” a nod to the Coldplay concert where the original incident occurred.

This lighthearted jab is the latest in a wave of internet reactions to the viral clip, which shows Byron and Cabot appearing together on the concert’s kiss cam.

The two quickly pulled away when spotted, prompting Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to joke, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Musk further fueled the discussion by reacting with a laughing emoji to a satirical post that appeared to be a mock apology from Astronomer’s official account.

The post featured a fabricated message from Byron, poking fun at the situation and embracing the social media chaos it sparked.

The viral clip, which showed Byron with his arm around Cabot, quickly made its rounds online, leading to widespread speculation and critique.

Notably, Astronomer has since confirmed that both executives were placed on leave. Byron later resigned as CEO, and the company stated it expects its leaders to uphold high standards of conduct and accountability.
