Elon Musk’s Tesla opens long-delayed retro diner, charging locations in US
In a remarkable breakthrough, Tesla has officially launched its much-anticipated retro-futuristic diner and drive-in and fast-charging facility in Hollywood, California.
The unique venue blends vintage Americana with the company’s sleek, modern tech aesthetic, offering Tesla drivers a space to eat, relax, and recharge.
Named the Tesla Diner & Drive-In, the facility is located alongside 80 V4 Supercharger stalls and features two massive 45-foot LED screens that stream movies for drivers to watch from their cars.
Audio from the screens is synced directly with each vehicle’s speakers, creating a drive-in movie experience tailored for Tesla owners.
The location doubles as a quick-service diner, offering classic menu items like burgers and hot dogs.
It also showcases Tesla-branded merchandise, including a display of the company’s humanoid Optimus robot.
Though built around Tesla’s charging network, the diner appears designed to appeal to both fans of the brand and curious visitors.
The opening drew large crowds, with people lining up well before the doors opened, an early sign of public interest.
Whether the venue becomes a Hollywood staple remains to be seen, but CEO Elon Musk is already considering expansion.
“If our retro-futuristic diner turns out well, which I think it will, Tesla will establish these in major cities around the world, as well as at Supercharger sites on long-distance routes,” Musk posted on X (formerly Twitter), hinting at a potential global rollout of the concept.
