Meghan Markle poses with inspiration behind As Ever’s logo: Discover full story
The Duchess of Sussex and nature might just be a match made in heaven

Meghan Markle went a step ahead in her post royal life when the ambitious former actress launched her own brand and kickstarted her career’s rehabilitation.
Initially announced as American Riviera Orchard, the company later rebranded to As Ever while its emblem was also updated to include a palm tree flanked by two hummingbirds.
On Wednesday, As Ever’s Instagram page shared a portrait of the Duchess and her pet canines posing together in her Montecito residence’s backyard.
It’s the background of this portrait which holds the key to Meghan Markle’s inspiration.
Sacred Connection
As Ever’s logo was designed as a tribute to her family — Prince Harry and the children Meghan shares with him, Archie and Lilibet.
The twin palms in the backyard of their California home provided the symbolism depicted in the logo’s imagery.
While the trees are in fact one of the major reasons why the couple initially purchased the property.
“One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees,” the Duchess told The Cut in 2022.
While recalling her husband’s words, she pointed out, “See how they’re connected at the bottom? He goes, ‘My love, it’s us’.”
Spiritual lessons
Relatedly but slightly converse, the hummingbirds are dedicated entirely to the Duke of Sussex.
Not only is he an avid birdwatcher — the royal dad even shared a sweet moment with Prince Archie when the two spotted a few hummingbirds during an episode of Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan — but he also detailed an experience with a hummingbird in his memoir, Spare.
Harry recounted that upon his return from Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, “a hummingbird got into the house”.
While guiding the bird out took enough of his time to make him think that the doors to their place should remain firmly shut, he later reconsidered if the bird could have been a sign — perhaps from his beloved grandmother — after “a mate” adviced him so.
“Some cultures see hummingbirds as spirits, he said. Visitors, as it were. Aztecs thought them reincarnated warriors. Spanish explorers called them ‘resurrection birds’. You don’t say?” wrote Prince Harry.
