Prince William opens up about Harry and his hopes for Prince George’s future
Prince William breaks silence on Prince Harry in rare reflection

Prince William has offered a rare reflection on his strained relationship with Prince Harry, while speaking candidly about his family and royal duties in Eugene Levy’s Apple TV+ series The Reluctant Traveler.
When asked how he feels about his eldest son, Prince George, eventually becoming king, the Prince of Wales, 43, said, “Obviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people’s lives for the better."
"That is caveated with, I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past, that Harry and I had to grow up with," he added.
His focus is on “change for good,” emphasising, “I embrace that and I enjoy that change—I don’t fear it.”
William’s remarks come as his rift with Harry continues to cast a shadow over the monarchy.
Royal historian Robert Lacey noted the split is “very profound and very long-lasting,” while Amanda Foreman stressed its resolution remains complicated.
Still, with Harry recently reuniting with King Charles after 19 months apart, insiders say the meeting marked “a massive step in the right direction.”
