Meghan Markle is celebrating girl power in the most special way, with her daughter by her side.

On Saturday, October 11, the Duchess of Sussex marked International Day of the Girl by sharing a beautiful Instagram post, which gives a rare glimpse of Princess Lilibet.

1. Rare look at Lilibet

Meghan markle in a heartwarming photo can be seen holding little Lilibet’s hand as they stand outdoors together. The Duchess, who was dressed in a light ensemble, beamed lovingly at her daughter, who sported a pink outfit with a matching purse.

2. Meghan’s empowering message to girls

Marking the day established by the United Nations in 2011, Meghan captioned her post with an inspiring message:

“To all the girls — this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other.”

She added, “We will do the same for you. It’s your right and our responsibility. Go get ’em girl! Happy International Day of the Girl.”

3. Continuing commitment to empowerment

This isn’t Meghan’s first time honouring the occasion. Last year, she opened up about “being one of the most bullied people in the world” while speaking at a #HalfTheStory event focused on helping young people navigate social media.

Founder of the nonprofit, Larissa May told Vanity Fair, “We had girls wave these little emoji signs and talk about how each one of these scenarios would have impacted them emotionally.”

4. Glimpse into Meghan’s family life

Just days before her post, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a joint appearance at Project Healthy Minds’ annual gala in New York City, where they reflected on their children during their acceptance speech.

“Our children, Archie and Lilibet, are just 6 and 4 years old,” Meghan said, adding, “Can you believe it?”

5. Proud mom and a global advocate

Through her post, Meghan combined motherhood with her mission, supporting young girls and their mental well being in the digital era.

Her heartfelt tribute to Lilibet not only celebrated her daughter but also sent a global message of empowerment, love, and responsibility.

“To all the girls — this world is yours,” she wrote. And in Meghan’s latest post, that world looked a little brighter.
