King Charles’ ruling leaves Andrew ranked among 'historic traitors'
Andrew faces setback as brother King Charles revokes his Royal titles
In the wake of King Charles’ ruling, a royal expert came forward and told GB News that Andrew has now found himself "ranked alongside traitors" from the World War I era.
Royal biographer Robert Hardman spoke to People's Channel, revealing that the 76-year-old Monarch’s decision to strip all of Andrew’s Royal titles, styles and honours was "incredibly wounding."
In a decisive move, the King removed his brother Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s Prince and Duke of York titles.
Now, Andrew’s name has vanished from the Roll of Peerage, marking a significant step in the formal process of stripping his titles.
The Roll of the Peerage serves as the official public record of all recognised peers and peerages across England, Scotland, Ireland, Great Britain and the UK.
"I don't think it was an existential threat to the monarchy, let's not forget it's been through comparable crises certainly over the last hundred years. But it was a very grave problem on two fronts," Mr Hardman shared with GB News, as he looked back on Andrew’s dramatic downfall.
Continuing, "One, it was just distracting from everything that the King and the working family were trying to do. The fact that the King goes to meet the Pope, that's historic stuff, and that's been sort of pushed into the margins by the latest Andrew shenanigans, so that's that's one issue."
Further explaining, "And the other issue is nobody knows where this particular story is going, because it's now nearly 15 years since my sister paper, the Mail on Sunday broke all this with that picture of Virginia Giuffre."
"And it was again the Mail on Sunday's exclusive the other day which really moved this on, when they showed the statement by Andrew back in 2019, when he said he'd severed links with Jeffrey Epstein and had nothing more to do with him since 2010."
