In a surprising turn of events, Prince William has revealed that he is considering letting his eldest son Prince George have his very own mobile phone.

He hinted that his 12-year-old son could soon be allowed to have his first phone once he starts secondary school but only with strict rules.

While in Brazil for the Cop30 climate summit, the 43-year-old Prince of Wales shared that currently all three of his children, Prince George, aged 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, are living a mobile-free childhood.

"It is really hard. Our children don't have phones," William explained. "When George moves onto secondary school, maybe he'll have one with limited access."

He brought attention to the importance of helping George understand their decision, expressing concern about children’s exposure to harmful online content.

However, he also went on to share a counter argument, noting that while unrestricted access to the internet carries risks, controlled use could be useful in some cases.

The Future King also gave Royal fans a rare look into their daily routines. He shared that while he occasionally shares school transport duties, Princess Kate takes on most of the responsibility.

"Play dates, taxi driver, sports days, matches, playing in the garden when I can," William shared.

"School run most days, I mean, Catherine and I share it, but she probably does the bulk of it."
