During her visit to Australia, Princess Anne handled an uncomfortable situation with quick wit as she swiftly dodged remarks about her controversial brother, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor who lost all his titles recently.

When a serviceman mentioned he had met her “brother” the 75-year-old Royal family member shot back with a playful remark, saying, "Which one? I have three."

Her sharp comeback helped the Princess Royal gracefully steer clear of talking about her brother or even taking his name publicly, as currently Andrew’s reputation continues to be controversial and problematic for the Royal Family.

The crowd around her laughed at her quip, which subtly took focus away from the former royal, who came under fire after his ties to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Princess Anne’s retort came at a garden party marking Royal Australian Signal Corps, where she interacted with numerous military personnel.

According to GB News, the conversation about an encounter with her brother was initiated by Jame Thorpe, who leads the Royal Australian Regiment Association.

When Mr Thorpe clarified his reference by stating: "Ah, that's the main one, Ma'am," the princess responded with laughter.

Her playful remark helped Anne handle an awkward and likely sensitive topic without disrupting the festive mood of the the military anniversary event.

The moment highlights how senior royals are carefully navigating public appearances amid ongoing scrutiny of Andrew.
