Prince William, Princess Kate gradually introduce Prince George to public life
Prince George steps into royal duties with guidance from the Prince and Princess of Wales
Prince William and Princess Kate are gearing up to prepare their oldest child, Prince George, for the future monarchy.
According to a recent report by the GBNews, the 12-year-old has been described as "a new royal in training" since his parents "carefully introduce" him to public engagements.
Prince George has recently been seen attending multiple royal events, suggesting that William and Kate are gradually including him in royal duties.
According to the Daily Mail's Diary Editor, Richard Eden, the absence of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Prince Harry gives the young royal a chance to step up.
"What we are seeing now is a new royal in training, Prince George. At the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, we saw his mother, Catherine, gently leading the way and really showing how Prince George could handle public engagements in the future,” the expert shared.
He added, "It's an event of remembrance, and it's one which is very close to the hearts of the Royal Family, also one which Prince George is very interested in. We saw him earlier this year, meeting veterans at Buckingham Palace when there was a tea party to celebrate the 70th anniversary of VE Day.”
George is currently adjusting to life with his sister, Princess Charlotte, and brother, Prince Louis, at the family’s new home, Forest Lodge.
It is worth noting that Prince George is second in line to the British throne after his father, Prince William.
