Prince William’s harsh two-word verdict on Prince Andrew exposed
The Broadcaster Emily Maitlis shares new insight into William’s private thoughts about his uncle
Prince William is reportedly using a brutal two-word phrase to describe his uncle, Prince Andrew, as tensions within the royal family continue to rise behind closed doors.
According to Ok Magazine, sources claim the future monarch's private assessment of the former Duke of York reflects the growing rift between the two as William prepares to take the throne.
Palace insiders reveal that aides have taken William’s cues, reportedly mocking Andrew as a “creepy commoner” following the stripping of his royal titles by King Charles.
The fallout from Andrew’s association with Jeffrey Epstein and his disastrous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview continues to cast a shadow over his presence at royal events.
Broadcaster Emily Maitlis, who conducted that infamous interview, shared new insight into William’s private feelings.
Speaking on The News Agents podcast, Maitlis said: “I was told he thinks his uncle is, quote, ‘beyond hideous.’
Whatever Charles does or doesn’t do, the relationship will be very, very different in the next king’s reign.”
According to a senior palace insider, the phrase William uses captures his desire to see Andrew removed entirely from the monarchy.
“William has drawn a very firm line. That two-word phrase is brutal, but it’s exactly how he sees the damage Andrew has done.
He wants him totally gone from the monarchy, in exile—forever,” the source said.
