Millie Bobby Brown reveals she broke down before final ‘Stranger Things’ shoot

Millie Bobby Brown felt the weight of saying goodbye to Stranger Things. Just a day before filming wrapped on Season 5, the actress revealed she broke down after watching old clips of the show for hours.

During her appearance on the Dish podcast, Millie said she spent the night before her final shoot watching fan edits and behind-the-scenes moments from the past decade.

“I sat on my sofa and put on all these edits of the show on YouTube and cried for like three hours,” she said.

Her husband, Jake Bongiovi, walked in confused, wondering why she was rewatching her early scenes while sobbing.

“He was like, ‘Come to bed,’ so I went,” she added.

Millie thought the emotional release would help her stay composed for her last day on set, but it didn’t last long.

“I woke up and drove to set and thought, ‘I’m fine.’ Then I stepped into the studio around 9am and just burst out crying,” she shared.

According to the star, the entire cast and crew struggled to keep it together while shooting the show’s final scenes, marking the end of an era for the global hit that launched in 2016.

The first volume of the Stranger Things Season 5 finale arrives on November 26 on Netflix.
