Meghan Markle shares rare look into Sussexes’ Thanksgiving at home
The Duchess of Sussex details Thanksgiving at home with Prince Harry and kids
Meghan Markle has offered rare insights into how she and her family will be spending their Thanksgiving holiday.
In a new As ever newsletter released on Thursday, November 27, the Duchess of Sussex said she was “grateful” to be surrounded by her husband Prince Harry, their family, and friends for the holiday at their home in Montecito, California.
Meghan went on to point out the challenges that come with hosting during the holidays, specifically mentioning the preparation of the turkey.
“I am so thankful for your support and warmth as we’ve grown As ever throughout the year, and the way in which you’ve invited this collection to be a part of your home,” she said.
The mother of two added, “Please know that as I look around my home and see my husband and children, family, dear friends (and also navigate the timing on the turkey and the love and layers that come with hostessing) — I feel grateful.”
She concluded her wish by hoping everyone enjoys “Thanksgiving with full hearts and full bellies.”
This message comes just days before Meghan and Harry participated in philanthropic work at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles, a community-operated organisation, accompanied by their six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet
According to the Archewell Foundation’s website, the family of four helped package food for Los Angeles Mercy Housing, Pico Union Project, and PATH.
