Sarah Ferguson has 'no final decision' for new home after Andrew lost his titles

Sarah Ferguson has yet to make a final decision about relocating after Andrew, Lord Mountbatten-Windsor, was stripped of his royal titles.

A spokesperson for the 66-year-old former duchess told PEOPLE that she is “assessing a number of options currently, and no final decision has been made.”

The spokesperson also dismissed reports that Ferguson would move into an annex or converted barn at her eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice country home, or that she would relocate to live with her younger daughter, Princess Eugenie, or with Andrew himself.

Ferguson and Andrew are leaving Royal Lodge in Windsor, where the ex-couple continued to live under the same roof despite their 1996 divorce.

The move follows King Charles’s decision to remove Andrew’s royal titles amid renewed scrutiny of his past associations.

Insiders have told People that Ferguson intends to carve out an independent life and has not requested a property or provision from the family.

One source said she “will continue to forge an independent life,” while another confirmed she plans to find her own place and move forward independently.
