Lady Eliza Spencer spills all on her love story and dreamy engagement for the first time

The niece of the late Princess Diana, Lady Eliza Spencer, and her fiancé, revealed how their love story began and how it turned into the phase of soulmates.

If we define Channing Millerd and Eliza Spencer's love story in three words, it would definitely be patience, serendipity, and affection.

While speaking from their London home exclusively with HELLO! For the engagement shoot, the couple blushed as they commemorated the planning, emotion, and their Santorini engagement details.

The couple had been together for nine years, first met 15 years ago at a dinner party in South Africa.

An interesting fact is that the dinner was hosted by Greg Mallett, who is likely to marry Eliza’s twin sister, Lady Amelia Spencer.

Moreover, the Spencer family had relocated from the UK in 1995 to sidestep the intense media glare tied to the Spencer lineage.

“I’d been single for about two years and wasn’t really socialising,” Eliza recalled.

“I didn’t even plan on going, but Amelia and my best friend dragged me there.”

It was at that table that she first met Channing, and he was in a relationship at the time, but life has other plans. They later fell for each other.

Channing proposed to Eliza dreamily, and he went on one knee. “It felt like an out-of-body experience,” she told the outlet.

“I laughed and cried. I still don’t know how he pulled it all off. Everything was above and beyond — I couldn’t have dreamt of anything more beautiful.”
