Prince William becomes TikTok’s unexpected style king

Royal fashion has long captivated social media users especially on TikTok, where a new wave of style icons continues to emerge.

While many would expect Princess Diana, Kate Middleton, or Meghan Markle to dominate the conversation, a recent study has revealed a surprising name at the top.

According to a study from women’s fashion brand Kaiia, Prince William has overtaken his mother, wife, and sister-in-law to become TikTok’s most influential royal style icon.

The findings show that more than 11.6 million people searched for “Prince William style inspiration” on Google each month, earning him an impressive style popularity score of 99 for the study.

Interestingly, Kate Middleton technically outranked William in the number of Google searches for her style inspiration, with 14.6 million searches.

However, when it came to people specifically looking up fashion moments, William generated 600,000 searches every month, leaving Kate at 60,000.

Though the results may seem unexpected, fashion watchers say they reflect real trends.

Prince William’s “trendy finance bro-leaning style,” featuring quarter-zip sweaters, tech vests, casual sneakers, and understated everyday pieces, has clearly found an audience, especially among professional men seeking relatable and wearable fashion ideas.
