David Beckham was knighted by King Charles for his extensive services to football and charity
Victoria Beckham recently shared her true sentiments upon hearing that her husband, Sir David Beckham, was honoured by King Charles on November 4, 2025.
On December 9, the 51-year-old fashion designer and singer stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she commended her husband’s outstanding contributions to the world of sports and philanthropy, per Hello! Magazine.
Victoria said, "[It's] so deserved, so well deserved, and we are so proud of him. What he's done for the sport, and also his philanthropic work, is amazing. So, we're so proud of him, so deserved."
"It was everything. We are both so patriotic, so proud to be British. So, for David to be knighted by the King of our country it meant so much. It was a real, real 'pinch me' moment. And I think the whole country is so proud of him, everything that he's achieved,” she added.
During the episode, Jimmy playfully called her “Lady Beckham,” and Spice Girls alum revealed that David is now referred to as “Sir David” at home.
Notably, David Beckham was honoured for his extensive services to football and charity after a 14-year wait, having first been nominated for a knighthood in 2011.
