Jennifer Lopez makes her relationship standards clear at Las Vegas show

Jennifer Lopez may not know who her next man will be but she knows he better come correct, that’s what the superstar made clear during her Las Vegas show on Saturday night.

While performing her 1999 hit If You Had My Love at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Lopez reflected on love and what she now expects from a future partner.

In a clip shared on Instagram, she explained how her feelings about the song have changed over the years from hope to sadness and now “in power.”

“Because the truth is, if you wanted to have my love, you would have to earn it,” she said, adding that any future partner must “treat me right,” “respect me" and “accept me for all that I am.”

Jennifer Lopez also acknowledged that love isn’t without its challenges, “You can’t have love without heartbreak.”
