Disney’s ‘Zootopia 2’ announces digital and DVD release dates
Zootopia 2 becomes the highest-grossing animated film of all time, earning $1.7 billion globally
Disney’s animated blockbuster Zootopia 2 is set to arrive in homes on January 27, with availability on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.
The sequel will follow with a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on March 3. A limited edition 4K SteelBook will feature fan-favorite characters, including the new sensation Gary De’Snake.
Zootopia 2 became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, earning $1.7 billion globally and ranking ninth on the all-time worldwide box office chart. It marks Disney’s fifth animated title to surpass the $1 billion milestone.
Bonus features for the home release include behind-the-scenes footage from Walt Disney Animation Studios, deleted scenes, recording booth moments, and a spotlight on Shakira’s music.
The film follows rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) as they investigate a sprawling mystery.
When Gary De’Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan) arrives in Zootopia, the animal metropolis is thrown into chaos. Judy and Nick go undercover in unfamiliar parts of town, testing their partnership like never before.
Zootopia 2 continues to blend humor, heart, and adventure while expanding the beloved world introduced in the first film.
