Princess Beatrice has offered a poignant display of family loyalty, joining her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, for a horse ride through the grounds of Windsor Castle.

On Saturday, the 37-year-old princess and her four-year-old daughter, Sienna, met the former duke at the Royal Mews before venturing into Home Park for a 45-minute excursion.

While Andrew, 65, led the group on horseback, Beatrice walked alongside young Sienna, who was perched safely on a pony.

The outing suggests a bridge remains between the father and his eldest daughter, particularly following Beatrice’s decision to spend Christmas with King Charles at Sandringham rather than with her father, who spent a solitary holiday at Royal Lodge.

The visit comes at a pivotal moment, with Andrew reportedly only weeks away from vacating his long-term residence.

Having surrendered his lease after being stripped of his royal titles, he is expected to relocate to Marsh Farm in Norfolk following extensive renovations.

Removal lorries have already been sighted at the Windsor estate, signalling the end of an era.

Despite Andrew’s "fall from grace," both Beatrice and her sister, Princess Eugenie, appear determined to maintain their bond.

While Eugenie was absent from the weekend ride, friends were quick to dismiss rumours that she had cut ties, stating: "It is completely untrue she has cut him off. She has seen him several times this year and is supportive."

As the family navigates this transition, the princesses seem intent on being "there for her father" during his impending exile.
