Second Epstein survivor alleges sexual encounter with Prince Andrew at Royal Lodge
The woman claims the encounter took place at Andrew’s Windsor residence, Royal Lodge, in 2010
A second woman has come forward alleging she was sent to the UK by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein for a sexual encounter with Prince Andrew, according to her lawyer.
The woman, who is not British and was in her 20s at the time, claims the encounter took place at Andrew’s Windsor residence, Royal Lodge, in 2010.
Her lawyer, Brad Edwards, told the BBC that she spent the night with the former prince and was later given a tour of Buckingham Palace, including tea.
Edwards, who represents more than 200 Epstein survivors globally, said communications between his client and Andrew occurred before the alleged encounter.
He described the claim as the first time an Epstein survivor has alleged that a sexual encounter involving Andrew took place at a royal residence.
Buckingham Palace records tour guests, but the BBC said it could not verify the woman’s visit without disclosing her identity.
The allegation adds to long-standing scrutiny surrounding Andrew’s association with Epstein.
Edwards previously represented Virginia Giuffre, who alleged she was trafficked to London to have sex with Andrew in 2001 when she was 17, and claimed further encounters in New York and on Epstein’s private Caribbean island. Andrew has consistently denied those claims.
Giuffre filed a civil lawsuit against Andrew in 2021, which was settled in 2022 for an estimated £12m. She died last year.
Edwards said he is now considering a civil lawsuit on behalf of the second woman. He criticised the Royal Family’s decision to strip Andrew of his titles last year, arguing it has limited avenues for accountability and compensation.
