Newly released emails from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein reveal a crude comment made by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, about her daughter, Princess Eugenie, when Eugenie was 19.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) unsealed over three million documents on January 30 tied to Epstein’s criminal investigations.

In a March 2010 email, Ferguson allegedly wrote to Epstein: “Not sure yet. Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a shagging weekend!!” At the time, Eugenie was just days shy of her 20th birthday.

Epstein had already served time for a sex crime involving a minor. Ferguson, 66, declined to comment on the emails, and Buckingham Palace has not responded.

The documents also include other personal exchanges between Ferguson and Epstein, including a 2010 message in which she told him: “You are a legend… Just marry me.” Ferguson had reportedly made similar remarks in 2009.

Ferguson shares Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, 37, with ex-husband Prince Andrew, 65, who has also appeared in newly released files related to Epstein.

Andrew stepped back from public royal duties in 2019 amid scrutiny over his ties to Epstein and has consistently denied wrongdoing.

The release of these emails coincides with Ferguson’s ongoing search for a new home, as she prepares to vacate Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, a residence she shared with Andrew post-divorce.

Ferguson previously apologized publicly in 2011 for accepting Epstein’s assistance to pay staff debts, calling it a “terrible, terrible error of judgment” and stating she “abhors paedophilia.”
