Sarah Ferguson is facing a wave of criticism following fresh allegations that she took her young daughters to meet Jeffrey Epstein shortly after his release from prison.

New evidence within the Epstein files suggests that the former Duchess of York arranged a lunch in Miami with the disgraced financier in 2009, bringing along Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who were then aged 20 and 19.

Royal expert Jennie Bond has expressed serious concern over these parenting choices, particularly as Epstein had been a free man for only five days at the time of the meeting.

Speaking to The Mirror, Bond questioned the wisdom of such an introduction: “I hesitate to criticise another woman’s parenting, but what kind of mother takes her daughters – then aged 20 and 19 – to Miami for lunch with a convicted paedophile?”

Further revelations highlight Sarah’s personal correspondence with Epstein, including light-hearted emails regarding Princess Eugenie’s private life.

Bond found this particularly unsettling, asking, “And what kind of mother writes, albeit jokingly, about her daughter’s love life to a man who abused children?”

The fallout from these documents has been devastating for the York sisters, who must also contend with resurfaced, disturbing imagery of their father.

Bond noted the lasting impact on the two women: “We can only imagine what Beatrice and Eugenie thought when they saw the pictures of their father... It’s something they will never be able to un-see.”
