Apple is expected to make major product announcements in 2026, including the company’s first foldable iPhone, upgrades to its iPads, and an enhanced AI experience through Apple Intelligence. While Apple remains tight-lipped about its plans, analysts and insiders suggest the tech giant is focusing on both hardware innovation and AI development to stay competitive.

One of the most anticipated changes is a more conversational Siri. Apple first teased improvements to its AI-powered assistant in 2024, demonstrating the ability to recall past context such as dinner conversations. While the launch of this upgraded Siri was delayed in 2025, Apple confirmed it will arrive in 2026, aiming to make the assistant smarter and more context-aware.

A foldable iPhone is also expected, with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicting a retail price above $2,000. Apple would join competitors like Samsung and Huawei, but its market share could help make foldable devices mainstream, similar to its influence on the smartwatch market.

On the MacBook front, a more affordable 13-inch model is reportedly in the works, potentially priced below $999 and powered by an iPhone-style chip. Mass production could begin in late 2025 or early 2026.

Entry-level devices are also set for upgrades. The iPhone 17e is expected to feature Apple’s A19 chip, MagSafe charging, and in-house wireless components while maintaining the same price as its predecessor. Similarly, the base-level iPad could receive Apple Intelligence via the A18 chip, with the iPad mini potentially gaining an OLED screen akin to the iPad Pro.

Apple’s subscription services, including Fitness+, are also evolving, offering new workout programs, artist-themed playlists, and additions to the Time to Walk program. These updates reflect Apple’s dual strategy of hardware innovation and service growth as it enters a pivotal year in 2026.
