Samara Weaving reveals how Rihanna inspires her chic pregnancy looks

Samara Weaving has elegantly showcased her baby bump and shared her tips for staying fashionable during pregnancy.

The 34-year-old actress, star of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, opened up to People at Clarins Night of Extra at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on March 20 about her maternity fashion journey.

“I think for me, I really wanted to avoid doing things that felt maternal,” Weaving said. “I wanted to still feel [like] me and still feel cool.” She revealed that Rihanna has been her “north star” when it comes to pregnancy looks.

For the evening, Weaving dazzled in a glam, off-the-shoulder black gown and stilettos, crediting her stylist, Jordan Dorso, for helping her navigate the challenges of dressing a changing body.

“It’s hard because you have a new body that’s changing every week, and you have no control,” Weaving explained. 

“So we’re trying to find outfits that accentuate what we want to accentuate and kind of hide what we want to hide. He’s just been an absolute dream to work with — I would literally be lost without him.”

The actress has been flaunting her bump on multiple occasions, including at the Los Angeles screening of Ready or Not 2 on March 16, where she wore a green dress with a playful stomach cut-out.

Weaving and husband Jimmy Warden, 34, whom she married in 2019, announced her first pregnancy on Instagram in December 2025 with a carousel of sparkly brown and lacy black outfits. 

The couple also recently spoke to People about balancing their careers and personal lives, sharing that they maintain closeness with daily jokes and small rituals even while working on projects apart.

The Ready or Not sequel, which sees Weaving reprising her role as Grace Le Domas, is now in theaters and features a star-studded cast including Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Elijah Wood, and David Cronenberg.
