Drew Barrymore is getting candid about body image and opened up emotionally about her insecurities during a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.

The 51-year-old star became tearful while speaking with a guest who expressed discomfort wearing form-fitting clothing, revealing how deeply she related to the experience after having two C-sections.

“I so related. I really did,” Barrymore said, recalling a recent moment that left her feeling self-conscious while out in public.

She admitted that changes to her body following childbirth have impacted how she dresses, sharing that certain styles no longer feel comfortable for her.

The actress described feeling exposed in an outfit she couldn’t adjust to her liking, confessing, “I don’t want anyone to see this,” as she reflected on the vulnerability she felt in that moment.

Barrymore, who shares daughters Olive and Frankie with ex-husband Will Kopelman, said her experience mirrors what many women face as their bodies evolve over time due to motherhood, aging, and busy lifestyles.

Despite the emotional moment, the host shifted the conversation toward encouragement, praising her guest’s confidence and reminding her that beauty isn’t defined by clothing size or shape.

“I’m looking at you and all I see is your beautiful hard work,” Barrymore said, adding that such strength often goes unnoticed unless shared.

She also credited her daughters for helping her step outside her comfort zone, explaining that they often encourage her to experiment with fashion, something that has helped her feel more confident.
