Sia and her estranged husband Daniel Bernad, have reached a child support settlement for their son, Somersault Wonder Bernad.

According to court documents filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the Cheap Thrills hitmaker will pay $42,500 per month, beginning April 1, continuing until Somersault turns 18. If he remains enrolled in high school full-time, payments will continue until graduation or his 19th birthday.

In addition to the monthly support, Sia is responsible for private school tuition, approved extracurricular activities, and any uninsured healthcare expenses.

To secure her son’s financial future, Sia must maintain a $5 million life insurance policy naming Somersault as beneficiary, or alternatively establish a trust of equivalent value if she passes before he reaches adulthood.

While legal custody will be shared, physical custody follows a set schedule: Bernad will have the child for Father’s Day and parts of Hanukkah, while Sia will have custody on Mother’s Day, Easter, and Christmas.

The agreement comes amid the ongoing divorce between Sia and Bernad, who tied the knot in 2022. Sia filed for divorce in March 2025.

Sia is also a mother to two adopted sons, whom she welcomed in 2019 when they were 18 years old.

This settlement ensures both financial and parental provisions for their young son as the couple navigates their post-marriage arrangements.
