Meghan Markle embraces AI venture, skips Prince Harry's Australian events
Meghan Markle collaborates with a cutting-edge fashion AI startup during her Australian tour
Meghan Markle has teamed up with an innovative fashion AI company while touring Australia with Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, traveled Down Under with the Duke of Sussex, 41, on Tuesday, kicking off a four-day journey across the continent.
While Harry was busy addressing a public gathering in Melbourne, paying respects at a war memorial in Canberra, and attending an Invictus Australia reception, Meghan did not attend these events.
She instead focused on personal business projects, though she plans to reunite with her husband in Melbourne tomorrow, just before the couple heads to Sydney for their last day on the tour.
While missing from official activities, it was revealed that the Duchess of Sussex had partnered with AI fashion discovery platform OneOff as both a participant and investor.
This platform seeks to enhance the online shopping journey by offering custom fashion suggestions based on users' likes and past choices.
It also enables users to follow their preferred celebrities, who curate and display their styles, allowing users to deconstruct each outfit and shop directly.
Her personal profile is now active on the new AI platform, offering fans a closer look at each outfit.
The brand explained that Meghan, along with other celebrities like Emma Roberts and Kate Hudson, has joined the app due to its broad appeal.
"She has a passion for fashion and chose to invest in order to not only grow her portfolio but also to uplift the fashion designers she admires," the press release stated.
After the couple's hospital visit, Meghan made a solo stop at a women's homeless services center in Melbourne, where she wore an apron and helped serve frittata to the center's guests.
The duchess later changed into a suede skirt and jacket from St. Agni, another Australian brand.
Later in the tour, the mother of two plans to attend a three-day wellness event organised by the "Her Best Life" podcast.
