Louis Tomlinson seems to have indirectly confirmed recent rumours of a falling out with Zayn Malik by "unfollowing” his former One Direction bandmate on social media.

Page Six can verify that Tomlinson is no longer following Malik on Instagram, after claims emerged that the “Pillowtalk” singer hit Tomlinson during a bar altercation that resulted in a concussion for Tomlinson.

Meanwhile, as of now, Malik still appears to follow Tomlinson.

Insiders reported that the confrontation occurred while the two artists were on set filming their 3-part Netflix docuseries.

Malik reportedly made an offensive comment regarding Tomlinson’s late mother, Johannah Deakin, who passed away from leukemia in 2016.

"It turned into an argument, and then Zayn said something inappropriate about Louis’ mom, Johannah [Deakin],” sources told the Sun in a report released on Friday.

"Louis was shocked and in disbelief. As he tried to walk away, Zayn attacked him, hitting him in the face. Zayn was wearing rings that cut Louis' head.”

“After being separated, Louis received medical care. He ended up with a concussion. This entire incident unfolded outside, in front of a large crowd. It was very alarming.”

“Louis was stunned and in shock,” the insider commented on the alleged altercation. WireImage

In light of the incident, Netflix is reported to have paused the documentary series.

The documentary had been announced back in October and was anticipated for a 2026 release.

The project aimed to follow Tomlinson and Malik on an American road journey.

They were expected to share their experiences from their time in the boy band and reminisce about their departed bandmate, Liam Payne.
