Natalie Portman expecting third child with musician Tanguy Destable
The couple reportedly began dating in early 2025
Natalie Portman is expecting her third child with French musician Tanguy Destable, whom she has described as a source of joy and support during a “privileged and miraculous” time in her life.
The Oscar-winning actress, 44, confirmed the news in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, where she expressed gratitude over expanding her family.
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she said. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”
Destable, 45, is a French electronic music producer and DJ who performs under the stage name Tepr.
He has been active in the music industry for years and is known for his experimental style, including his early work as part of the electronic duo Abstrackt Keal Agram.
The couple reportedly began their relationship in early 2025. Destable is also the father of two sons, Étienne and Vadim, from a previous relationship with French actress Louise Bourgoin.
Portman shares two older children, son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 9, with her former husband Benjamin Millepied.
The pair finalized their divorce in 2024 following reports of Millepied’s alleged affair in 2023.
A representative for Portman confirmed her pregnancy but declined to provide further details.
Speaking about the experience, Portman reflected on her personal connection to fertility and motherhood, noting that she grew up hearing about the challenges of conception due to her father’s profession as a fertility doctor.
“I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” she said, adding that she is mindful of others who face difficulties in starting families.
Despite the emotional weight surrounding pregnancy for many, Portman said she is currently feeling well and has experienced “more energy than expected.”
Destable, meanwhile, brings a background in France’s electronic and alternative music scene, having performed internationally and collaborated across genres throughout his career.
