Jen Affleck confirms return in ‘Mormon Wives’ Orange County spinoff

Reality star Jen Affleck has officially confirmed her return to the spotlight, revealing she will appear in the upcoming Hulu spinoff The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.

The announcement came on Sunday, April 26, when Affleck shared a TikTok and Instagram video featuring herself alongside fellow cast members, confirming her participation after weeks of online speculation. 

In the clip, she is seen stepping forward as her name appears on screen before joining the ensemble cast in a coordinated group montage.

The new series, set to premiere on Hulu later this year, expands the universe of the original hit show and follows a new group of young mothers in Orange County navigating faith, family life, and modern social pressures.

Affleck joins a cast that includes influencers and creators such as Bobbi Althoff, Aspyn Ovard, Madison Bontempo, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, Ashleigh Pease, and McCall DaPron. 

The spinoff also connects back to the original MomTok circle, with DaPron being the sister of returning cast member Mayci Neeley.

The video teaser quickly drew reactions from fans and fellow cast members, with comments flooding in across social media praising the expansion of the franchise and Affleck’s return.

Hulu officially announced the spinoff on April 22, describing the series as a look into a tight-knit but complex community of women whose identities are deeply tied to their beliefs, relationships, and evolving lifestyles. 

The platform teased storylines involving shifting friendships, personal reinvention, and rising tensions within the group.

Affleck’s return to reality TV follows a period of major life transitions, including time spent in Los Angeles and relocation moves tied to her family life with husband Zac Affleck and their children. 

She has previously appeared in the original series and became a recognizable face within the MomTok community.

The expansion of the franchise reflects Hulu’s continued investment in the Mormon Wives universe, with executives suggesting future room for additional cast members and evolving storylines across both the original series and its spinoff.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives continues production alongside the development of its new Orange County chapter, with both projects expected to stream on Hulu and Disney+ bundle services later this year.
