Meghan Markle discusses wedding vow renewal with Prince Harry as 8th anniversary nears
The Duchess casually mentioned the idea while filming alongside Sean Skeels and Marley Whatarau
In a lighthearted moment, Meghan Markle hinted that she and Prince Harry might think about renewing their vows when chatting with some Australian content creators.
The Duchess casually mentioned the idea while filming alongside Sean Skeels and Marley Whatarau, who run the well-known YouTube channel Get Down with Sean and Marley, during her recent visit to Australia.
This moment unfolded when the team handed her swimming trunks as a gift for the Duke of Sussex.
"For the love of my life. Maybe we'll renew our vows with him in these," Meghan playfully remarked.
The video was made public on Monday.
During the gift exchange, the YouTubers presented a selection of thoughtful gifts for the Sussexes, including plush toys and NRL football jerseys for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Meghan was also given Minties candies, which she shared were particularly meaningful: "My mom's favorite, and mine too."
Chicken salt was another gift aimed at spicing up her kitchen creations.
The friendship between the Duchess and the Australian duo began after they tried replicating "Meghan's Spaghetti" from her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.
In appreciation of their culinary attempt, Meghan sent a thank-you note along with a basket of goodies from her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
"Everyone adores you both so much. Your show is incredible because you are remarkable," Meghan expressed warmly to them.
She went on: "I'm really proud of you two, I'm truly happy, and immensely thankful for all these gifts. Keep up the fantastic work. Your show is great, and you guys are amazing."
The Get Down with Sean and Marley channel boasts more than a million subscribers, making the best friends prominent influencers in the Australian YouTube scene.
These YouTubers weren't the only ones to enjoy Meghan’s company when she was in Australia.
Meghan also made a guest appearance on the eighteenth season of MasterChef Australia, with the show airing on April 19.
