Anne Hathaway, one of Hollywood's most recognisable actors, has opened up about her deep connection with her husband, actor and producer Adam Shulman. In a series of recent interviews, the star has been vocal about the crucial role he plays behind the scenes, especially as she navigates one of the busiest periods of her career.

"He is the most amazing person I have ever met," she told People magazine, calling him a "dream partner."

'The most extraordinary person'

Hathaway, who married Shulman in 2012, explained how he provides stability in her hectic life. "He's the one who keeps me on the floor when the rest of the world is spinning," she said.

The couple share two sons, Jonathan and Jack, and Hathaway credits Shulman with managing their family life, allowing her to focus on her work, which includes five new films this year. "I absolutely would not be able to have achieved what I've done without my husband," she stated.

According to InStyle, Hathaway has described their relationship as "long-term and deep," adding that he is a constant presence through all the highs and lows of her career. "He's the one who's there before the interviews, during the projects and after the awards," she said.

A private partnership

Despite Hathaway's global fame, the couple is known for keeping their family life incredibly private. They rarely post about each other, but fans have noticed that Shulman is a constant theme in her interviews. "They don't post a lot but when she mentions him you can tell she really loves him," one fan remarked on social media.

While her sons' faces are kept away from the cameras, Hathaway has shared how they transformed her life. "The most important part of my life by far are my kids," she told People. The actor has also been open about their challenging journey to parenthood, including her past battle with infertility, hoping her honesty "might help someone else," as reported by outlets including the Hindustan Times.

Shulman is also an accomplished figure in the film industry, with credits as both an actor and a producer. Beyond Hollywood, he is a talented jewelry designer and co-owns the brand James Banks Design.

The couple's bond is evident in their shared commitment and even in the small details.

In a past interview, Hathaway revealed they have matching tattoos that symbolise their belief that "individually we're whole, but together we're more."
