On Saturday, Meghan Markle charmed fans by sharing an endearing moment involving her four-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, on Instagram.

The personal mirror selfie displayed the Duchess of Sussex in her dressing area, while her youngest child sat on the floor nearby, seemingly lending a hand with outfit choices.

"My little helper," the 44-year-old captioned the picture, with a purple heart emoji.

The heartwarming photo quickly made waves on social platforms, with royal followers admiring the special interaction between mother and child.

The Duchess also posted the snapshot to her Instagram Stories, once again featuring the purple heart icon.

Within the image, little Lilibet could be observed kneeling before her mum, helping her with shoes as Meghan prepared for her forthcoming European tour.

The young princess was dressed in red nightwear, her lengthy brunette hair neatly styled into a ponytail with a red bow.

Captured in the moment, Meghan wore a lavender outfit.

The image provided a rare peek into the family’s personal life at their Montecito home, where the Sussexes have been nurturing their two children since stepping down from royal duties in 2020.

Instantly, the snapshot drew online attention, with admirers enchanted by the charming scene.

The photo appeared just before the duchess's upcoming trip to Geneva later today for a major event centred on children’s digital safety.

She is set to attend the unveiling of The Lost Screen Memorial at Place des Nations, accompanied by WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and families impacted by the tragic consequences of online dangers.

The memorial features 50 lightboxes, each presenting the lock screen image of a young individual who fell victim to online violence and digital threats.

Archewell Philanthropies, the charitable organisation founded by Meghan and Prince Harry, collaborated with The Parents' Network to create the exhibit.

This event precedes the commencement of the 79th World Health Assembly.

The Geneva journey follows a bustling time for the Sussex family, having recently spent a day at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The outing doubled as both a Mother’s Day treat and a joint birthday party for the children, reports suggest.

During the theme park adventure, Lilibet was snapped hugging a Cinderella performer and meeting Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.

Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, joined in on the family festivities.

Earlier in the month, the Duchess celebrated Prince Archie's seventh birthday on May 6 by releasing seldom-seen pictures, including one of Harry holding their newborn and another showing both kids playing on a beach near their Californian residence
