'Game of Thrones' podcasts launch on HBO Max Europe, Harry Potter rewatch series debuts
Harry Potter: The Official Film Podcast debuts with a special two‑episode release followed by weekly segments
Calling all European enthusiasts of dragons and magical wizards: HBO Max is here to delight you.
The streaming platform is rolling out podcasts for Game of Thrones and Harry Potter, with the latter launching today, as part of a strategy to fully cater to fans of major franchises.
Starting June, HBO Max will unveil various franchise-centred podcasts in Europe, led by the Game of Thrones series.
This will include The Game of Thrones Anniversary Podcast Special, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Podcast and The Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon.
A video podcast for the latter will be released next month in line with season three of the series, which focuses on a conflict within the ruling Targaryen lineage.
These offerings will join podcasts and companion shows such as The Last of Us, The Pitt, The Comeback and Sinners, along with the multi-season rewatch podcast The History of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
The European podcast rollout officially kicks off today with the worldwide launch of Harry Potter: The Official Film Podcast. Hosted by film critic Rhianna Dhillon, this podcast series provides a rewatch experience offering insights into the eight Harry Potter films, featuring special guests, film analysis, and in-depth discussions on pivotal moments from the films.
Harry Potter: The Official Film Podcast debuts with a special two‑episode release followed by weekly segments, with two episodes dedicated to each film. The series was first revealed a few weeks ago.
