Today marks the eighth wedding anniversary of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, celebrated with an array of unseen photos from their magical Windsor Castle wedding.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot at St George's Chapel on 19th May 2018 and are commemorating this special day with their children at their home in Montecito.

Prince Archie, now seven, and Princess Lilibet, aged four, are anticipated to partake in the anniversary festivities.

The release of these photographs follows shortly after the Duchess of Sussex's visit to Geneva, adding to what's been a momentous time for the couple living in California.

The newly shared pictures highlight the couple's dynamic presence on the dance floor during their wedding celebration, with one image capturing them sharing a romantic kiss amidst their guests.

The Duchess of Sussex shared another set of pictures showing personal moments from the ceremony, such as a gentle look shared between them just after their vows.

An exclusive behind-the-scenes image from their official portrait session was also part of the collection.

Some of these photos were featured in their 2022 Netflix documentary, yet the release included several new ones.

Meghan's posts were captioned "Eight years ago today," with a nod to their "wonderful" photographer Chris Allerton.

Their Windsor Castle wedding drew a crowd of celebrities, among them Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams.

Throughout their marriage, Harry and Meghan have occasionally unveiled more images from their wedding day.

Included among the previously shared photos is a black-and-white image of the couple laughing together.

The couple eventually stepped away from royal duties and moved to California with their family.

The anniversary celebration follows a hectic opening to 2026 for the couple, who visited Australia last month, marking their first trip back since 2018.

On the visit, the former Suits actress candidly discussed the hardships of public life, describing it as "very hard" to navigate at times.

She also shared on the "amazing moments" she has experienced since meeting Harry in 2016, like their wedding and becoming parents, while recognising the intense public attention she has endured.
