Huda Mustafa is facing online backlash after releasing her debut single Bad Girls, with social media users sharply divided over her new music venture.

The 25-year-old, known for her appearance on Love Island, has officially entered the music industry alongside a new music video that shows her embracing an edgy, office-inspired aesthetic.

In the video, Mustafa is seen performing in a stylized workplace setting, leaning into a bold persona as she promotes her transition into music.

However, the release quickly sparked criticism online, with many viewers mocking the track and questioning her decision to pursue a singing career.

On X (formerly Twitter), reactions ranged from dismissive to outright critical, with one user describing the song as “lash tech music,” while another wrote, “We have to stop letting everyone think they can be a singer.”

Despite the backlash, some fans defended the reality star, praising her confidence and visual presentation, with one supporter writing that she was giving “main pop girl energy.”

Mustafa rose to prominence as one of the more controversial contestants on Love Island, where she ultimately finished as runner-up alongside partner Chris Seeley, while Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales won the season.

During her time on the show, she drew significant attention and controversy, including claims related to her behavior in the villa, which she later addressed publicly.

Following the show, she also experienced professional fallout, including the end of a partnership with beauty brand Huda Beauty.
