The Pitt star Sepideh Moafi has shut down speculation of an alleged behind-the-scenes feud with co-star Noah Wyle, firmly denying that any tension exists between the pair.

The 40-year-old actress, who joined the medical drama in its second season as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi opposite Wyle’s Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, addressed the rumors in a recent interview, calling them entirely unfounded.

“Absolutely not [true]. I do not have that power. We’re really great colleagues,” Moafi told Variety. She added that she and Wyle maintained a positive working relationship, even while filming emotionally intense scenes.

Moafi explained that their off-camera dynamic helped support their performances on set.

“We’ve always had a great working relationship, which is why it actually felt safe to do the darker, dirtier work… between set-ups, we were shooting the s*** and laughing,” she said, dismissing the idea of any personal conflict.

The actress also clarified that while she is expected to return for The Pitt season three, which begins filming this summer, details regarding her character’s storyline remain unclear.

“At the moment, I am [returning]. I’m not sure to what capacity,” she said, noting that episode counts and plot direction had not yet been finalized.

Beyond the rumors, Moafi also reacted to a viral social media comparison linking her character’s curly hairstyle to Jennifer Aniston’s iconic “Rachel” cut from Friends.

She expressed surprise and appreciation for the comparison, calling it “an honor” and reflecting on how curly hair has often been embraced and admired throughout her career.

Her comments come amid growing attention around The Pitt, as cast member Isa Briones recently criticized audience behavior during her Broadway run in Just in Time, urging fans not to shout references from the show during live performances.

Despite the online chatter, Moafi emphasized that speculation about tension on set does not reflect her experience working on the series.
